FOR SALE: 1928 Canadian engine, serial no. CA9102 (next is the star). The book says that this was manufactured in May of '28. The engine start no. for May was 7173 and ended with 13772. This engine was running when it came out of the car. There is a brass tag on the engine that reads Attridge & Miller machine & welding co. Calgary. Cylinders rebored .030, ref #1730. The engine is painted the contriversal gray . I can't see any traces of Ford green on it. It has the later style clutch and bell housing. WANTED: The Canadian Model A Ford Foundation, a non profit Canadian society is looking for "Canadian" Model A literature such as manuals, magazine ads, newspaper articles, etc. We are also looking for "Made in Canada" parts, such as Champion 3X spark plugs, Schrader Tire Valve Stems, Houdialle Shocks, Shock arms, Hassler Shocks, Original Upholstery (any condition), bumper clamps, early powerhouse generators, autolite castings, tools and tool bags, etc. We need these items to research for current and future Model A restorers. The information collected will be shared with restorers as well as MARC and MAFCA. This information will also help to improve the MARC/MAFCA Judging Standards Canadian section. A must have tool for the novice as well as the experienced mechanic, this instrument allows you to accurately determine the condition of the bushings, upper distributor shaft and the distributor cam as well as to set the point gap. While primarily a bench tool it can also be used without removing the distributor from the engine. Complete with a sturdy storage box, dial indicator and full instructions.
